Mr Esa Masood is currently Second Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Social and Family Development.

Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive of the Singapore Islamic Religious Council or MUIS. Mr Esa has served in various government agencies including the Early Childhood Development Agency, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Mr Esa serves on the Boards of the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, National Council of Social Services and is a member of the National Wages Council.
