Mr Douglas Foo is the founder and Chairman of Sakae Holdings Ltd. He has led the growth and development of the Group, which has established over 200 outlets across Singapore, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, USA and Vietnam. He continues to spearhead the overall strategic direction and management of the Group’s global strategic plans, and its philanthropic initiatives.

Mr Foo serves as the President of Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Co-Chair of Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) and Vice-President of Singapore National Employers Federation amongst other Corporate, Governmental and Non-profit organizations.

Mr Foo is recipient of numerous illustrious accolades and awards including the Public Service Star Award 2013 from His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Singapore for his philanthropic and voluntary contributions to society. He was also crowned the Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 by Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES).
