Mr Willie Cheng is the chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). SID’s mission is to promote the professional development of directors and corporate leaders and encourage the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.

Mr Cheng is a former managing partner of Accenture. Since his retirement in 2003, he has stayed involved with the business and the infocomm community. He currently sits on the boards of UOB Bank, Far East Hospitality Asset Management, SingHealth and Integrated Health Information Systems, as well as several non-profit organisations.

He writes extensively on corporate governance and non-profit matters.
